Updated too many apps at once, no iPad is broken!

iMore Question

Ok so let's not go into the details of why I had 200 apps that wanted to be updated.
Or that I accidentally clicked the update all button.

Let's talk about what happened when I did.
All those apps (some that I use a lot, inbox Netflix HBO etc) are darked out and 'waiting'.

I've tried:

Manually hitting the stop button next each app in the App Store

Hitting the app icon to resume, doesn't say anything

Deleting, will let me bring up the 'x' but won't let me delete.

Also now I can't update anything.
This is crazy, my iPad is literally almost useless.

iPad Air 2, latest iOS

Thanks in advance,

Elijah

There's really nothing you can do short of starting from scratch. Simply wait it out. I hope you have an excellent Wi-Fi & internet connection.

Try doing a hard reset on your iPad. Hold the home a power button till you see the  logo. Then release and let it finish. The should stop the updates allowing you to start over. Then only do a few at a time.

Go to settings > General > Usage > Manage storage > scroll to the App to delete > Tap app, then delete there. Then go back to the screen and if it's still there, delete using the X.
