Thoughts on iOS 11 and no 3d Touch

I was watching a video on YouTube this morning and it made me wonder, how will the iPhone SE handle the new Control Center without having 3d Touch? Will we be able to long press for more options? Thoughts, anyone?

The iPhone SE is a fantastic device but in my opinion is in desperate need of an update.
I believe that Apple will release the iPhone 8 alongside an updated SE with Force Touch to Bridge the gap

An updated SE in the fall would be awesome! I world buy that for sure!

Hmm I didn't think about that. That's a good question. I could see it as something that just doesn't work but hopefully not a major issue.

I asked the question in the ios 11 forums. Someone confirmed that a long press did the same as 3d touch.

When is IOS 11 being released?

It's usually released in September.

I feel they will go with long presses and swipes. I love my SE and it's plenty fast for anything I'll ever need, so I'm starting to doubt a new version until next spring.
