Do you know what is odd, when I had an iPad 1, and near the end of its usefulness, I took out my pocket knife and showed my friends that the glass would not easily scratch. In fact I could NOT scrTch it. Then now somehow on my iPad Air and 5C I got a couple of scratches and with these newer devices I was trying to be careful lol.

I never use to use screen protectors back on iPhone 4/4s and etc. never had scratching. Now I get scratching within a couple of days if I don't use one.

OK so I went to Best Buy and checked out the iPhone 7 in black and yeah it's not too slippery. Last week it was on for zero dollars if you sign a two-year contract but now it's back up to $300, but I'm in no rush I'll just wait a while. I would only get $50 for a trade on my 5C. Here are some of the cases I kind of liked and the official Apple and leather for $59 was pretty nice. If I get a black iPhone I like the idea of those clear cases…

I have a matte and a jet black. My matte is 5 months old and has very slight marks on antenna lines from switching cases. Barely noticeable and looks brand new.

My jet black is a week old and has micro scratches all over the lower part of it from me changing cases and one longer scratch in the middle that I can see at certain angles. They didn't lie when they said it shows scratches easily.

You should return it if it bothers you that much. Assuming you bought new you're still within return window.

Well I'm not sure I really want to pay a couple hundred dollars extra for 128 GB I would be fine with 32 GB it's all I ever need. I have 55 apps on my iPhone 5c and I still have 4 1/2 free gigs left over. But I use the battery Dr. app to really keep it cleaned up and tight. So yeah I'll probably get Gold if that's the case.

32 is not much... especially with that increase in MP (aka larger picture file size) of that sweet camera... the 7Plus should be 64 minimum imho

I'm a cover junkie so I always spent a lot of money getting covers until I finally get the one that I put it on and never look back. I understand your dilemma as I had the same, I always use Clear cases so it can show all the phone's beauty, but there is something with clear covers and Black phones that I don't like, it seems that clear cases looks the best with White, Silver, Gray and Gold, basically with every color but black, I don't like the contrast of colors when pairing them, the next best thing is the "Clear Covers" with the Smoked Black borders or complete.

So I bought a Generic Clear one with Bumpers side, it lasted 2 minutes on, hated it, then I got a CaseLogic one that was used for about a week until I got the 2 Tozo covers (Similar to the Peel case), one Blue (loved it) and one Mocha Black (Didn't look as expected) but these 2 covers doesn't protect other than from scratches, they are basically the thinnest and lightest covers available.

Then I got the Ringke Air Smoke Black, it looks good but like I mentioned above there is something with Clear Cover (even with Smoke Black tint) with Black phones that doesn't look good to me.

So I got a Ringke Fusion and these 2 Ringke Covers are the ones that I'm currently using and I'll keep using for a while, of the 2, the Fusion is the prettiest as I bought it jet Black just like the phone, and I like that it keeps the same look while it protects very well the phone.

Take a look at it to see if you like the Ringle Fusion jet Black just like I do.

I see Smoke black, Shadow black and Ink black. Which one did you buy and does it add much thickness to the phone?
Thanks.

Basically the same than the rest of the Ringke and Spigen TPU case. You know it has a cover because you can feel it in the hand that is larger but still on the comfort zone.
