Switching from Sprint to Verizon

Has anyone successfully Switched their 5s from Sprint to Verizon? I get different answers from both Carriers each time I talk to them. Sorry if this has been discussed, I wasn't able to find a post.

As far as I know it will not work but if you know anyone one with VZW ask them to try their sim in your phone and see if it works.

This has been discussed, and no you will not be able to use your sprint 5s on Verizon.

Hardware that was OEMed for Sprint CAN NOT...repeat...CAN NOT be used on Verizon. Period.

If you switch from Verizon then you could take your phone anywhere almost except sprint
