Sprint iPhone with International SIM settings

For a Sprint iPhone 5s that has been unlocked, what are the settings that should be used to allow voice and data over the SIM but avoiding any type of roaming, connection to any CDMA tower, or any charges for Sprint International service?

Hi Louzer. Wouldn't the carrier in question when you get the SIM abroad be the folks to give you the appropriate settings?

Not necessarily. They'll know what to turn on to get their SIM card to work, but won't know what to leave off so as to not incur huge roaming fees from Sprint International service.

If you have the international SIM in the phone, it will not be "roaming" on Sprint at all. It won't connect to Sprint until you put the Sprint SIM card back in the phone.

Thanks for the info. I also heard somewhere that if you're in proximity to a CDMA tower (which I hear is extremely rare in Europe) that you'd incur roaming charges against your pre-paid SIM.
