Greenfly Studios releases 1.1 update for Ski Solitaire - the entertaining casual card game for the Apple iPad
Set within the snowy mountains of Europe, Ski Solitaire is an addictive casual card game for the Apple iPad? . The debut title from Greenfly Studios takes the familiar golf solitaire and infuses it with entertaining card mechanics and delightful cartoon graphics to create a unique gaming experience. With a 100 handcrafted levels spread over 10 courses, Ski Solitaire can be played again and again delivering hours of entertainment.

Instead of relying on luck, players have to use different strategies to complete the game. Remove as many cards from the screen but with tricky forest hazards and icy conditions, players need to be on their toes to achieve the best scores. Find the special ?gate? cards to extend your streak and clear every objective to become World Champion.
In addition, players have to keep an eye out for the weather report cards where unpredictable weather can result in card-shuffling snowstorms or picture-perfect conditions. To help their progress, a range of power-ups are available from the Ski Shop where players can buy ski goggles, jackets (and even underpants!) using the in-game virtual currency.
The new update (v1.1) now includes Game Center so players can compete against other Ski Solitaire users for the top scores and unlock the achievements.
Greenfly Studios is now hard at work crafting their new project that features an innovative game mechanic ideally suited for iOS devices. ?The response from the games press has been very positive and we are keen to expand upon the core idea? said Stephen Morris, Technical Director. ?Our aim is to have a playable version ready for the press in time for Develop Brighton.?
