Recovery Mode

I was restoring my iPhone 6 WITH a Apple tech person and halfway through the process, a prompt came up. Cannot restore update iPhone 6. Error9. Essentially, my phone is bricked.

Any solutions I can try to get it out of recovery mode? I've tried about everything.

Oh yes. From what I've read (googled) an error 9 is virtually terminal. Tried restoring via a pic AND A MacBook Pro. No go.

You were with an Apple Tech person, are you saying they bricked your phone or was it doing this before they touched it?

I was follow their instructions over the phone when this happened.
