Potential issue with my mid-2012 Macbook Air

Got back from vacation today and started to play a Facebook game on my macbook air and for some reason, my fans in my macbook air went full power. When I play games like Sid Meier's railroad in the past, the fans never got that loud/fast.

Should the fans on the MBA go full power or loud while playing a simple game like poker online?

Should mention that the MBA was plugged in and nothing else was running in the background.

When a thermal sensor hits a set point, fans are going to do their thing... Make sure the MacBook has clearance for airflow...

Tried to make sure that where was airflow/space when it was on my lap. Maybe i didn't get enough. Thanks.
