So just got this phone (first iphone) and i cant figure out how to take a wide angle picture. I also have the LG V20 which has dual cameras too, front and back, both gives an option for wide angles. where do i find this on the iphone camera? so far really enjoying the iphone. i like to take pictures, trying to avoid carrying around 2 devices.

this is what i mean. i did not move from where i was sitting, all i did was switch to wide angle. is this possible on the iphone?



i searched in the forum but no answer to wide angle pictures, just zooming

p.s. excuse the messy bed. you cant see her, but my toddler is sleeping in there somethere.

There is no wide angle lens like the V20. I had the same set up on my Lg G5 and enjoyed that too but the iPhone dual cameras don't work in the same way. It's for depth effect and 2x zoom only.

You can manually switch between the 2 lenses for more options using ProCam but not exactly the same thing

I've google how to take wide angle pictures with iphone and similar searches and not one place does it say iphone does not take wide angle picture,
