I'm going with an xtremeguard front and back clear screen protector. The only case I would consider putting on it is a totallee scarf or peel. They are super thin and you barely know there's a case on the phone.

Clear skin (for scratches) and tempered glass screen protector - that's it. Nearly original thickness; I'll let Apple Care+ take care of the rest. Since I have to pay for it anyway, why not (yes, know there are deductibles, but Apple wants to be "covered" for those 12 month trade ins on the next great thing).
