My iPad has dumped game centre and I can't restore yet to game centre is on my iPhone

When I push the game centre icon it says unable to load data due to network conductivity issues or errors with but I'm connected to the Internet

Follow this steps:

1. Backup your iPhone from iTunes (computer), no iCloud.
2. Restore your iPhone as new iPhone.
3. Restore your backup from iTunes (computer)

This should restore your game center functionality.
