Is it me or is iTunes in troubles after this update? I can't start the app. Need to go to terminal every time I want to open it!

Haven't seen any issues here, have you tried restarting your device.

Yes, lot's of time. However I did read elsewere there is a problem but wondering nothing here.. I even talk with applecare and they said there was a problem. Just hope for a solution soon..
