Is there a way to increase the font size while viewing web pages?

Hello, I’m trying out an iPhone again, I usually get one once a year and keep it for a week or so. I would love to just stay on iOS for the privacy and security.

My problem, I’m using a iPhone 8 with iOS 12 , I can’t figure out how to increase the fonts sizes in any websites.
I’ve tried the increase font size in the accessibility part of the settings menu to no avail.
Surely I’m not the only one with this issue ??

I’ve searched the internet a good bit and everything says use the accessibility method.
Can someone point me in the right direction

I don't think you can, aside from using the built-in reader function.

Strangely enough I don’t get the reader icon in the top left or anywhere else that I can locate.

I do have the reader icon in Firefox and it’s a work around I guess

All sites do not support reader mode, but those that do will cause the reader option to be available.

There isn’t a reader option for the forums, to my knowledge, but if you were to go to the iMore blog, you would then have it.

Update ! I tried dolphin browser and it does allow a larger font size.
It’s not perfect but it’s better than safari.
