Is iCloud enough for your cloud storage needs?

The large Elephant question in the room is???

What if you paid for more storage uploaded a lot of data and then somehow didn't pay the premium the next year

A- do they dump your back up data

B- cut your data down to the free 5GB

C- lock you out of iCloud till you pay

D- throw you out of the Apple Country club

The biggest problem with iCloud's current implementation - and I don't see this changing any time soon - is that iCloud iOS device backups will VERY quickly eat away available space, especially at the free 5GB tier. Other than that I have no issues whatsoever with iCloud, and use it occasionally.
