All that may be. But many users choose the SE, because they want the home button. Make all those changes and add Face ID, then it's no longer an SE. It becomes a slightly larger Mini.
That’s my sense of it too. It is for the crowd that likes the way it was. FingerprintID on a physical home button. Nevertheless I think it will be gone for SE4. I wouldn’t even be surprised if they put FaceID with dynamic island on it. Dynamic Island adoption is a benefit to Apple.
I don’t know. I think they’ll reserve Di for their higher end models…to help give customers a desire to buy those.
