iPhone SE 3 details allegedly shared by 'Ming-Chi Kuo' ahead of Apple event

A Twitter account purportedly belonging to famed insider Ming-Chi Kuo claims to have some last-minute details about the iPhone SE 3 coming next week.

A15 and 5g support are good enough improvements. I’ve gone back to using my 2020 SE over my 12 mini because I love the size.

If the SE comes as is suggested by rumors, Imho the SE lacks in external feature offerings compared to similar cheap Android phones, in some cases substantially so. But the A15 SOC (and up to date spec’d actual 5G modem) puts these important internal specs substantially beyond previously mentioned competition. I do hope the rear and selfie camera with the new SE are top Spec’d. That would be an excellent kicker.

But even with the lacking external specs, there’s one oft overlooked spec that blows away the mentioned competition: longevity. The Apple build quality and especially the insanely long OS support. Samsung recently upped there support to 4 years but it is Imho an underhanded claim. Go read year 4 “support” and the fine print. Samsung is a top company and puts out some fine products but that’s just a step above scam imho. SE will likely see the very latest full IOS version until 2028. It makes the SE a damn fine value dollar for dollar.
