iphone 2g unlocked cant make calls or send texts

i have an unlocked iphone 2g and it says i have full bars and im connected to att but there is not "e" saying im connected to edge so can somebody please help it has been working for the past month but yesterday it just quit working somebody please help me please!!

Did you set the correct APN in the network settings for Tmobile or whatever carrier you are with?
