I have read the blogs and have read some of the other threads but still not sure if 32 is enough or if I need 64. I have never had an iphone so I really dont know what I need. I have a couple thousand songs and a couple movies on itunes. Just thought I would throw a simple poll out there to help me out!

I wanted 64gb, but went for the 32gb I couldn't justify the extra ?100 (circa $150) now that we have iCloud and I get Premium Spotify as part of my mobile contract.

I'll add to that my iPhone 4 was 32gb and that was plenty, just like the thought of all the extra space.

If you a hardcore movie fan and want to watch it on the go an want to store multiple movies, the 64 is plenty but f you are just going to store music and like more than 10 movies the 32 is good

32gb is enough for me, mostly for apps, music and photos. 64gb might be too much (unless its an iPad)

If you use video, You can always use an app like air player to stream video from your PC / Laptop over both wifi and 3G.

This will play any format and you dont need to convert included HD MKV files.

I have used on my iPad and it works well

I don't use cases. I have all my accessories. Along with sale of old phone, i don't mind spending a bit extra for 32 more gb's.

With the better pics & video, i'll use this even more. I'll need more space since they're bigger files.

I can always use phone to take pics off dslr camera. I'm sure i'll find a use for the extra storage. But i wouldn't say its essential for anyone.

For my personal use I would have to have 32GB at the minimum. I take tons of pictures and videos, which take up a lot of room. The cloud may help in storing some of it. Not being able to change sd cards would take some getting used to.

IMO, 32GB is more than enough for the average iPhone user, including the ones who ordered the 4S. I've only used about 5GB on my iPhone 4 after 15 months and didn't see a need for the 64GB, ymmv.

No way. I have the following on my ip4 32 gb. 2500+ pictures, games like final fantasy 1-3, madden 13, FIFA 12, daybreak... Probably 15 games in all, iCatcher podcast catcher which has 12 podcasts that in subscribed to, audible.com books about 200 songs. I'm constantly deleting games and songs for newer ones. My pictures I keep forever.... Can't wait to get the 64gb.

I went with 64. My 32GB 3GS got filled up in a year, mainly with apps. Right now I have 732 songs, so not a lot, 43 videos (short), 460 photos, 257 apps (after severe culling) and 8GB free space.

Do we really need that much space?

We have iCloud now that stores your photos, videos, music, contacts and other files.

Isn't it?

It depends...

I have a 16GB, but only because I use MOG for music, have Hulu/Netflix, and most of my pictures/videos go to the cloud. If I need to travel and want to watch a movie, create documents, and so on, then I'll use the iPad. As you can see, it depends.

Lol, you sound like me. I know that one can use the cloud but for some reason I feel better having my stuff right there, you know? I am a picture nut and take lots of video too. My son would could probably get by with less because he doesn't take very many pictures and video. Most of his stuff is apps and music.
