If you blow into the Lightning port will it stop working?

Like blowing from your mouth? I'm asking because does it use some special way of connecting or is there any physical gold contacts it touches?

There are gold contacts in there. Blowing in it doesn't do anything. Except for maybe if you blow too hard too long you'll be out of breath for a split second.
