iCloud storage size.

I have just bought an iPad 3 to partner my iPhone 4s.

Am I being silly to expect another 5gb of iCloud storage to boost my Amount to 10gb?

Do you only ever have one free 5gb or is it with the iPhone you get the free storage. I was under the impression you get 5gb with any ios5 device and that storage stays with the iOS device when sold.

You get 5gb free with a single iCloud account, not per device. I wish, I just back up to my Mac iTunes because backing up to iCloud can get a bit expensive with all the memory I use.
