I cannot get my iphone 6 to hook up to my new apple tv, cannot use it as remote or on games?

iPhone will not hook up to the new apple tv to be used as remote like on previous (generation 3) apple tv. They showed during the keynote on apple tv you could use your phone on games. I cannot figure out how to do this with my phone.

The Remote app has not been updated to work with the new Apple TV yet, but hopefully it will in the future. You can use the previous gen remote (siilver) however.
