How Much Space Do You Have Free?

I have an iPhone 3G 16 GB, and have 329 MB left...which really sucks when Navigon releases an update, because I pretty much have to pull off a bunch of music, install the update, then load all the music back on there.

No Space

I have 16GB 3GS and have had it down to 0MB available. There are times where I've had to delete a few songs just to get everything installed.

Installing GPS programs on the phone does not help. You have to have 3GB available just to install. This usually means I SSH into the GPS maps folder, cut, install additional apps, and paste the maps back into place.

This does the trick but it takes a while.... I should have got the 32GB.

Not likely. We won't see a major UI change until at least 4.0 if ever.

I have like no space left on my 16GB 3GS. Mostly, I stock it with lots of music. I could do with a 32BG one but until battery life is at like 100 hrs., I didn't see any point to it.

Yeah, I'm surprised too that there aren't more people with more on their phones. On my 16GB 3G, I'm constantly having to take stuff off so I can fit other things. Actually, I need to get rid of some of the apps that I've thought I wanted to check out, but don't have much real use for. But I do have Navigon North America, which at 1.4GB takes up nearly 10% of my space!

8GB 3G is usually full -- 1/3 audio varies by how many podcasts, 1/3 video varies by what feature film's loaded, rest is apps and photos.
