how i can change file extensions??

im trying to make a ringtone ,how i can i change the file name ??

Use iRinger it is easy and free and it even put the ringtones in your library . Changing the name wont make a MP3 into a M4A

Are you using vista by any chance? if so you will need to go into your set up panel go to folders then veiw and change the tick box to show file extensions, sorry if its sounds abit vauge but i am not on my vista right now so cant go trough properly any probs let me know and i wiil look when i get home!
