How do I get sound for incoming calls on my iPhone 3?

my iphone 3 no incoming ring tone

There is sound when testing ring tone.
Checked vibrate switch. Toggling this switch did not give an onscreen indicator of the ring mode.

Maybe the switch is broken. If not try restarting the phone.
