How do I edit or delete my searches on Messenger on my iPad?

I have contacted Facebook and they are of no help. There is not a place to edit or delete my searches on my iPad on Messenger. I can do this on Facebook but not in Messenger.

If you can't find anything in Messenger and Facebook can't help you, I'm pretty sure there isn't a way to do that.

See if there are 3 dots "..." to the upper right of that list. Tap on it and you can hide that.
