How can I eliminate Pass Code from iPhone 6s?

I just bought a new 6s and was able to access my Mail without a password. Then, a message popped up to download iOs 9.0.., which I did and now have to use afinger print ID and/or a Pass Code to even get started. How can I get rid of this Pass Code/Finger Print thing?

P.S. I am 75 years old and not exactly "tech savvy", so keep it simple. Thanks.

Welcome to iMore! If you set all that up, you can disable it as well. Go to Settings >Touch ID and Passcode > sign in with the 4 or 6 digit passcode > disable those things.
