I just got a new iPhone 6s Plus 128 for Xmas and I had not selected a case yet. I was rushing to go somewhere and put the iPhone in my jacket side pocket. I did not hear it fall into the street as I got in the car.
In a span of 8 minutes 20 seconds, my brand new, 20 day old, iPhone 6s Plus was run over by 17 cars and trucks. Luckily, 34 missed it. He must have turned the phone off at some point. Once I realized I had lost it, I enabled the "lost mode" and 3 minutes later I got a call from the guy in the video saying he had it. I got the iPhone back 4 hours after I dropped it.
The case was really beaten up, with pock marks from rocks in the tires. The front facing camera was broken and the light no longer worked. Everything else did work.
It's a very sad day!
