Does System Status by Techet actually do anything?

I feel like if there was a way to better manage and aid the iphone's performance, Apple would already have figured it out.

Secondly, knowing that an iPhone that is not jailbreaked is pretty locked down, how does this app monitor and manage memory?

Well, despite these worries, I purchased the app after AppAdvice.com suggested it and I am hoping some user has actually noticed a true capability of System Status.
