Do you passcode protect your iPhone?

Yes, I use a 6-digit passcode for security purposes. I don't want anyone accessing my iPhone without my permission, and I'm definitely not going to make it easy for them if I somehow lost it.

I wish there was a way to activate touch ID without having to use a passcode. Since there's not, I use a passcode. Six digits.

You still have to use the passcode for access if you do a reset. Probably why it's required.

A passcode is required. But not a 6 digit one. I still use 4 digits.

I didn't realize that, but it's okay because I have a code that's personally easy to remember.

4 digits and my fingerprint. I had my iPhone 4 stolen years ago and it didn't have a password. It was open. That hurt more than the loss of the phone itself.

Yes I do. 6 digits. It gives me a peace of mind just in case someone gets their hands on my iPhone. I always use the touch ID unless my password is needed.
