Did my Jail Break work?

Used P0sixpwn 1.7 on my iPad 2 with 6.1.3 iOS and did not see the Cydia app.

I then tried the latest P0sixpwn 1.8 version and it states "It appears your iPad is already jail Broken"

What now?

Installed Cydia manually and then Winterboard so I assume that my device is JB

If Cydia is on there and it works, your device is jailbroken.

Yeh, everything seems smooth so I guess the P0sixpwn works on 6.1.3

Software update in the "general" section of the settings app shouldn't be showing you an update for iOS 7.1.1.

The General has a "1" and when I click it it says "checking for update"

Just keeps searching..................

You're jailbroken. A jailbreak disables that feature.
