Can the Twitter app for iPad display inline images?

So does anyone know if the Twitter app for the iPad can display inline images like the iPhone version and the Mac version? If the option is there, I can't find it.

Not that I've found, in fact the iPad version is way behind the iPhone version

You know I've noticed that, which doesn't make sense. It's a universal app.
