AT&T Wi-Fi calling now available on iPhones running iOS 9

I checked mine yesterday and was able to activate it here in rural Mass. Mine is locked to AT&t.

ok. So I enabled wifi calling ( Long Island NY ) and it seems to work fine. Is this the same as having a microcell in my house? I've asked At&t for 1 for years and never got 1. Can someone explain to me the difference? Thanks

Without being technical and with the exception of not having to pay for AT&T's microcell modem that would be connected to your home internet router anyway which, in my opinion, makes it the same as Wi-Fi calling, I don't see a difference.

My was too. It's the model, not whether or not it's unlocked.
