Russell Holly over at Android Central did a real nice review of it. But more or less it's a glorified radio controlled toy. (it's a little more sophisticated, BUT more or less, think of those cars we used to get when we were kids).....

PS and instead of the "radio controller" you got an app on your iphone or android to control it.

I actually bought one!! I ordered it two days after launch and have yet to receive tracking info on it. I ordered through Sphero directly...I'm growing frustrated.

We have an Ollie (also made by Sphero) and it's a blast. I might have bought the BB-8 instead had it been released at that time. The nerd in me wants it!
