Apple news expansion to Ireland

Hi does anyone know why apple is so slow to bring the news app to other countries such as Ireland. Since its launch it seems to have only gained 1 or 2 additional countries to the launch countries.

does anyone know if apple plans to expand the news app to more countries.

I am very excited to for this app as I read the news a lot

Yes, Apple is planning to make Apple News available in more countries.

Like with everything, the local businesses in most countries don’t like Apple taking a bite out of their cake.
Therefore they’re holding off on cooperating with Apple as long as they can.

I think that even Apple doesn’t know that.
It really depends on when the Irish news publishers decide to cooperate with Apple. It could be in a few days or in a few years.
