I'm fine with that. AMEX is not as well accepted as Visa or MC internationally and that's my main use case. No international transaction fees.

It’s not Apple that’s isn’t “premium enough”, but some of the card holders. At least that’s my take on the AMEX CEO’s comment.

If you ask to pay by card in London,often the answer is “of course, but we don’t take Amex” So very premium…
