App Store submissions.

Now when apple claimed they get 8500 app submissions per week, did that include only US apps or apps submitted by devs, say, in austrailia, UK, Japan, etc? I know not every app is available in every country so that would mean there isn't the same app store for every country, but rather a specific unique app store similar to how the iTunes store works, right?

Total, if a App is submitted to to 20 countries App stores, it still counts as a single app unless it is designed and written differently and submitted separately for each country. Facebook for example is counted one time not for each country...
