Any way to save iPhone3g as Disk image?

Just wondering if there is a way to totally save everything so that you can restore the iphone after a crash without having to go through itunes restore then restore from user etcetcetc, then re-install everything from cydia, Like you would save a disk image of a hard drive then restore it from disk utility.

Haven't heard of such a complete backup utility but you could always try Google.

And besides, it's not always a bad idea to do a clean restore and then go back in and add your music, contacts, and all that other stuff the normal way.
