I had a couple of bagphones (Motorola I think) had early Moto Startac and various Windows phones. I bought way too many phone brands and OS's over the years Symbian, iphone 3 gs, Windows and Android. They each had their strong and weak points.

Those phones were legendary at the time, useless without the larger battery bump, but still legendary.

Any non Nokia Symbian phones?

Yes, I had that first Moto Startac, the only Symbian I had were both Nokia. I had a number of Windows phones but I can't remember the brand. One was called The Blue Angel but I don't remember the others names.

That was definitely one of the many cell phones I had back in the day, and you’re right, the Motorola Star-Tac was legendary.

You never had a Ericsson Symbian or a Siemens Symbian phone, you missed out.

And was extremely expensive as well, 1000-2000 dollars back in the mid 90s depending on where you were in the world.

The startac kicked off the first cellphone wars in the 90s.

I don’t recall its price, but its cool factor was through the roof. ;)

Apparently samsung smartphone sales declined by 40% in the 2nd quarter of the year, and took profits with it.

Looks like apple is taking over in Korea, the iPhone is crushing Samsung galaxy with the under 30 crowd at an incredible pace.

Can’t wait to see what the titanium framed iPhone 15 pro and pro max will do next month, it’s going to be brutal.
