If you are thinking to trade in your Note 3 for subsidized iPhone 6, yes thay will do that at the carier stores. But that's a rip off. You may get Max $425 for your Note 3 on Swappa, or ebay though. You are looking at $250 short to get new iPhone.

Apple moved all its product releases from spring to fall in 2013 leaving room for brand new products for spring of 2014 and thereafter. Make sense to have bigger phone with brand new name as well as apple watch released in this timeframe.
