1.7 gigs this time around, some months have been between 2 and 3. Unlimited data and never been flagged. I'm assuming this is because I've always got wi-fi going at the house, and most restaurants (even fast food) have wi-fi going too, so I never seem to break 3 gigs in cellular data.

An ATV? I'd love it just to see what all the hype is about! I've fallen in love with the iPods, iPhones, iPads... this would just round out my Apple collection just a little bit more, and I don't see any reason for me to dislike it at all!

iPod touches, in the LARGE STORAGE SPACE capacity, would be nice for those times when I'm thinking about conserving phone battery but still interested in watching vids, etc., or for when the iPhone is serving as GPS and the family still wants music etc. Great for long car trips.

Most often, another sync fixes this issue. As said before, this happened when iOS 4 came out too.

I stopped my restore at that point, set up wi-fi sync, and transferred all of the apps and music back that way. Finished my "restore" faster than a couple of friends did. As fast as the apps load normally, I'm not sure why the upgrade was dragging out the process, but I didn't lose any app...

I'm late to the game on this one, but if you mean sluggish in response to any action taken, no matter the app, then yes. It's buggy. Hopefully 5.1+ will be released soon to correct all these little issues.
