That bad huh? I've never used an Android phone as a daily driver but I have messed with a few models here and there and I just have no temptation to switch away... just reinforce that feeling when I read testimonials like this!

Lots of good suggestions... lighting (exposure) and no digital zoom are super important, and taking several pics is a good suggestion... I would add turn on the camera lens grid and think about the rule of thirds for framing

OK OK, technically it wasn't bricked... those of us who downloaded the bad update within the first hour or so had to restore within iTunes to get wi-fi and cell radios back. My point is that it is ALWAYS a good idea to wait even just a little bit when a new iOS updates lands, I usually monitor...

They are pretty good about it these days but it has happened -- 8.4.1 killed wi-fi and cell for OTA upgraders during the first hour it was out

LOL I wish that were true but I've been bit twice over the years with an iOS update that had a bug -- 8.4.1 was the last, so being "released" is not necessarily a sign that an update is safe
