I have a Verizon Android and AT&T iPad. I can get a Verizon world phone to use for the trip. Would it be best to pick up a prepaid phone in England and forward my Verizon number to it? What about text messages? Can I text from a Euro number to America? What other things do I need to know?

I had the same problem with my 3Gs with an Exchange account, MM account and Verizon account. It started after the 4.0 upgrade. Seems to be working fine with all three accounts on iPhone 4.

You are right on both counts! It came with 4.0.1. I restored from my 3Gs back up and all is good! Came from Apples store. I think they do the bare min to get you going and want you to restore/back up/ register at home thru iTunes. Thanks!

My iPad takes a while to get updated with Mobile Me. I can add a contact or event in on my iPhone and it appears instantly on my Mac but not on the iPad. Even after hitting the sync button. Any ideas?

Problems solved. I blew out the 32 pin port with compressed air and the problem has gone away for now. Maybe a piece of lint was causing the problem.

Mine only has one... maybe you have two. Still muted after I uncover the single speaker with my hand. Why is it still muted with nothing blocking the speaker?

When I hold my hand close to the speaker, the sound is muted until I change my hand position. It stays muted for 5-10 key strokes then comes back full volume. I tend to "palm" my phone in landscape mode with my left hand and type with my right. It will do it in portrait orientation too. Anyone...
