Odd -- mine works fine regardless of my Exchange settings. I just don't fully trust my iPhone's alarm -- it'll work fine for a while, then there'll be that one time it doesn't wake you up...

Unless you flip the mute switch -- doesn't matter which 3rd party alarm you use, it won't make a sound :-( Thanks though for stopping by ;-)

That's true if you're using a 3rd-party alarm app, however, the beauty of the native Alarm App is that you can turn on the mute switch but alarms still sound off. 3rd-party apps are silenced if the mute switch is on.

Just an FYI, setting it up as a 'Hotmail' account uses Exchange ActiveSync settings. You can also use the Exchange option with m.hotmail.com as the server, but it isn't necessary.

The new iPad speaker is >much< better than on my iPad 2. On the iPad, the media had to be very loud on it's own to be of much use at maximum volume. Not the case on the new iPad, even media with moderate volume levels can be heard clearly if the iPad is turned up all the way.

Doesn't quite work on my 4S, when I say 'bluetooth' or 'show me bluetooth' it shows me where the Bluetooth Sig is located in Seattle. I can however pull up the contact manually and tap the link, which works...

3G I could maybe do without, but the fact that the WiFi-only model doesn't have a GPS chip is disappointing.

I had the signal problem with my first i4, swapped it out with a 2nd one, same thing. I returned it, will wait for the iPhone 4.5 ;) I did notice that while I could easily reproduce the problem in the Apple Store, their display models didn't have the problem. So... it's not a problem with all...
