SMS background

I have a 4S and I was wondering, is there anyway to make my background in the messages app black? Thanks in advance.

go to google and type in
"how to edit sms wallpaper 4s"

You can add 'with winterboard' or 'without winterboard' depending on if you want to use an app to do it or you want to use ssh or ifile. that google search pops up with a lot of info rather than just looking at this one site.

Just remember, whatever theme you choose the text will always be black... So if you "cross theme" and have clear or no chat bubbles on a dark background, you're not going to be able to read messages
