SIM Unlocking iPhone 4/4S

I have noticed there is lots of software's that claim to unlock an iPhone for $30-$40

Are they legit is it a gimmick?

They're most likely fake. I don't even think they have an unlock for the 4S unless you talk to your carrier about it.

Right, and the unlock for anything that can be unlocked is free. Never pay for it.
