So I thought this would be a good idea. I'd read all about the warning that Skype puts up on JB's devices, but I didn't expect that they'd actually do something.
So I install skype and sign in. Great everything works. So I home screen and close the app. But a few minutes later, I want to make a call. Skype just hangs at signing in. I let it go for more than 10 min just for kicks. It stays hung. So Delete and reinstall just to be sure, does it again. I get crafty and use backgrounder. Works, but sometime last night skype randomly logs itself off. I try to use it this morning and back to the login loop.
Anyone else have these symptoms? I've read that skype is "unstable" due to some mobile substrate issues, but saurik fixed that last year and I have updated M.S. to rule that out.
I can't find any new data on this issue, its all from 2009 and earlier.
Is there a cydia repo that has older, compatible, apps like this?
