Crashing Issues (with Jailbreak)?

When I unlocked my iPhone on 3.0.1 and did it on Windows, there seemed to be no problem.

Now I have a Mac and I've I used the Pwnage Tool to Jailbreak the iPhone to 3.1.2 and I've experienced a few random restarts and freezes.

I am wondering if anyone has experienced similar?

My iPhone was broken under OS 3.0.1 and was done on a Mac. I broke it again the other day again on a Mac. I used PwnageTool 3.1.4 and firmware 3.12. I created a custom IPSW file and then used that file in the recovery mode. After following the directions not to use backup I set the phone up as new. I noticed that it did not bring over anything that was installed using Cydia. Then I went to Cydia to open it and the App would try to start and then CRASH. Any ideas on how I could fix this. I want to get some apps back and install AppsSync.
