3.1 Question

We all know that we have to wait to upgrade to 3.1 as to keep our jailbreaks, but I am pondering something. Will I be able to say use, an upgraded version of purplera1n, if releases, to upgrade to 3.1 with a jailbreak, WITHOUT losing my fully customized phone and long list of JB Apps? I know GeoHotz made it easy to jailbreak 3.0 and keep all your stuff, but will I have to upgrade, delete all my stuff, jailbreak then re-add all my stuff. If this is the case, anyone know of a way to back up all that stuff, then export it back onto the device after upgrade and JB. If I have to delete my stuff it is not worth it, I would rather stay at 3.0.1 then lose all my JB stuff.

Apt Backup will make a list of the JB apps you have installed and automate the reinstallation.

This does not backup data, it only automates application reinstallation.

I have that one, but will it not be deleted once I update the firmware and lose my JB apps? Or does this get synced to your computer somehow?
