Confused about the size of the SE

I know it's smaller than the iPhone 6/6S and is the same size as the iPhone 5S, but what was the size of the iPhone 4S then? I used to love how small that phone was. Is the iPhone SE slightly bigger than the 4S?

The 4/4s was 3.5in.. The 5/5s is the same width but a hair taller at 4in
