Anyone having issues with the AppStore app when updating Apps

When I see I have Apps that have updates, when I click on the "UPDATE" tab, it opens the app instead of Updating the app. I have to click on the app name/information and go to the actual app page, then I can click on the "update" button...
anyone else have this issue?

But I'm wondering how could we ignore an update. Sometimes I really don't wanna update!

Never heard of that. When I go to the App Store, and tap on "Updates", the apps have "update" out to the right. You might try a hard reset. Hold the top power/sleep button and the home button at the same time until the Apple logo appears, then release.

I think led is right with the hard reset. If this persists try reinstalling your software again on iTunes.

I have the same problem on my iPad mini, which is also jail broke...but it seems like this only started recently.. I'll try a hard reset..

Mine show the update button as well, but when I click on it it opens the app instead of updating it.

This is frustrating.. in order to update an app, I have to go to Purchases, the search for the app, then update through the app page.. My 'Update All" at the top does not work...

and it's frustrating more because all these apps seem to be getting numerous updates every couple of days .... argh!
